Susan Joan Vinales January 20, 1953 – March 6, 2024
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Susan Joan Vinales, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, on March 6th, 2024. Born on January 20th, 1953, in Morristown, New Jersey, Susan’s vibrant spirit and loving presence touched all who knew her.
Susan leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her devoted husband of over 50 years, Walter Vinales, and her loving sons, Eric Vinales and Shane Vinales. Susan’s dedication to her family was the cornerstone of her life. As a devoted wife, she stood beside her husband, Walter, through every season of life. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, love, and unwavering support for each other. Her partnership with Walter was a testament to their enduring love and mutual respect, which continued to flourish over five decades of marriage.
Susan’s heart knew no bounds when it came to her children. As a loving mother, she nurtured Eric and Shane with a grace and strength that was both gentle and unwavering. Susan’s legacy as a mother is etched in the values she instilled and the unconditional love she gave—a love that will continue to guide her sons from above. Her role as a mother was only surpassed by her joy in being a grandmother to her four grandchildren: Devon, Landon, Savannah, and Thiago. Susan is also survived by her father-in-law, Conrad Vinales, and brother-in-law, Danny Vinales, as well as many other family members and friends.
Susan’s daughters-in-law, Karyne Vinales and Becky Vinales, remember her as a guiding light and a source of constant support. Her kindness and warmth extended beyond her family, touching the lives of many in the community.
A Celebration of Susan’s life will be held in Indian Rocks Beach at Crabby Bill’s Restaurant (401 Gulf Blvd., Indian Rocks Beach, FL 33785) on March 14th from 12-2 PM.
