Randall William Curtis, 71, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. He is now reunited in eternal rest with his parents, Rosemary and John Curtis, and his beloved younger brothers, Johnny and Dennis. Born on August 9, 1953, in Galesburg, Illinois. Randy carried the spirit of his hometown of Abingdon, IL with him throughout his life. He spent most of his adult life in Florida but remained a devoted fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. Randy is survived by his wife, Carol; his daughter, Sarah (Dax Sr.); his step-children, Tricia and Nick; his cherished grandchildren, Dax Jr., Jaydon, and Alyse; and his adored great-grandchild, Kaii. He also leaves behind his sisters, Mary and Teresa, as well as many nieces and nephews who will carry his memory forward. To Randy, family was everything. His boundless love and unwavering support for his grandchildren and great-grandson were central to his life. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, proud father, adoring grandfather, cherished brother and uncle, and loyal friend. A private ceremony to scatter his ashes will be held in Abingdon, the town that always held a special place in his heart.
