Kimberly Ann Whitley, 67 of Largo, FL passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 16, 2023. Born on December 20, 1955, to Paul and Kathleen Kessler of Hamilton, OH. She was preceded in death by her father Paul Kessler. Kimberly is survived by her Mother Kathleen Kessler (89), Partner of 13 years Ian Bagnall, her 3 children, multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her 2 brothers and their families.
She moved to Arizona in 1973 and raised her children first as a stay and home mom then working with animals in the grooming field and as a Veterinary Technician. She moved back to Ohio in 1993 and went back to college in 1994 to obtain her Associates of Applied Science in Environmental Control and graduated with Honors in 1997. She started her career in Ohio in the Coatings Industry, but in 1999 she transferred to Florida, where she acquired two patents and then transferred to the Boat Industry until 2011. She had a passion for gardening and animals. She was a strong, stubborn and independent woman with a sharp tongue.
She will be immensely missed by her family and friends, but we can rest knowing she is no longer in pain.
A private memorial will be held at a date to be determined. In leu of flowers please make donations to The Animal Friends Humane Society 1820 Princton Road Hamilton, Ohio in her memory.
