I knew John for a short while, mostly through church. John was a hoot and could always make me laugh. He was also kind and generous. I will miss John. Trish, You all are in my prayers. Love, Evelyn
John was a dear friend. I first met John while he was a patient at Woodside Hospice. According to his testimony, he prayed to receive the gift of eternal life while I was at his bedside. He acknowledged he was a sinner in need of a Savior. John amazingly got well enough to leave Hospice, and was given a new lease on life for the next several years. He was baptized at 60th Street Church, and became an active member for several years. His desire was to erect a flag pole in front of the church building. In his memory, I hope that becomes reality. Love you John. Will see you on the other side.
