John Allen Foster, Jr. (“Jay”), 66, of Tampa Heights, FL sadly passed away at his home on October 30, 2023 following a brief battle with cancer. Jay was born to John Sr. and Ann Foster in New York. He studied to become a marine biologist but, like his father Jay ultimately went on to pursue a successful career in advertising. An entrepreneur at heart, the agencies Jay built significantly contributed to the success of his clients in industries ranging from information technology to healthcare.His family will remember him as a bold, adventurous man who was not afraid to take risks. He moved to Florida after college and found it to be the one place that he wanted to live for the rest of his life. He and his wife Wanda also had a home in Puerto Rico where they spent many lovely times together. Jay especially valued his many lifelong friendships.
Mr. Foster is survived by his loving wife, Wanda as well as their children Sarah, Jason and Angela, two grandchildren, his mother Ann, his four sisters Mary, Nancy, Patricia and Kathleen and extended family.
The family will have a celebration of life in Long Island, New York at a later time.

Jay, we love you so much. Your memory will be a blessing to our family. Thank you for being a father figure throughout the the years. My children will always know about Jay.

Sorry to hear of his battle with cancer and of his passing. I’ll always remember Jay for his kindness and protection to the “boys across the street” while they were in school at USF. Many prayers for Wanda and family.
