Jeffrey Lawrence Gabbard, age 60, of Gulf Harbors, Florida passed away unexpectedly October 12, 2026 after a brief illness.
He was born January 22, 1966 in Hamilton, Ohio, son of Roger Leo and Hazel Louise Gabbard.
He graduated with an Associate Degree in Engineering Technology from De Vry University, and worked for many years as a maintenance technician in St. Petersburg at King Pharmaceuticals and Nordson Corporation.
Over the course of 27 years together, he and Andrea built and lived their dream life. He loved spending time with family and friends, especially his children and grandchildren, who filled him with so much pride and even greater joy. The hours Jeff spent boating and fishing in the Gulf, maintaining his well-manicured lawn, winning second place for the Christmas decorations on their home, and enjoying the Gulf Harbors private beach club filled his life with love, laughter, and joy. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, but especially by Andrea, his best girl and first mate.
He is survived by: his wife Andrea Storm Gabbard; his daughter Amber (Clay) McDonald, Oklahoma; his son Ansel (Rachel) Gabbard, Texas; and six grandchildren: Donaven, Lillian, Keira, Kylie, Elena, and Emilia. He is further survived by his mother Hazel Louise Gabbard and two brothers, Lee Gabbard and Roger Gabbard. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. His sister Tina Gabbard passed away shortly after his death. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Gabbard.
A Celebration of Life is planned for January 2027.
