Loving Memory of James “Bruce” Boyer
August 25, 1949 – August 1, 2026
James “Bruce” Boyer passed away on August 1, 2026, resting in his faith and the honor of his service.
A proud veteran of the United States Army, Bruce served his country during the Vietnam War.
Above all, Bruce believed deeply in Jesus Christ. His faith was his personal anchor, giving him peace and the promise of eternal life through grace.
Bruce held his friends close to his heart, truly considering them his family. He is survived by the dear friends and loved ones who shared in his journey.
A service with military honors will be held on August 26, 2026, at 2:30 PM at Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg, FL. Memorial donations may be made to a veteran organization or church of your choice.

Above is a picture of my father holding me when I was young. I did several searches for my Father’s siblings and extended family with sadly no results. I seem to have been his only next of kin. I will continue to keep an open line for possible extended family.
He was my friend got to know him at Madison Highlands Senior living complex he was a stand-up guy I’m happy to to have known Mr Bruce may you rest in peace and my condolences go out to his daughter and two sisters God bless you.
Bruce was My Neighbor I lived on the third floor. He lived on the second. It did not bother him to call me if it was 2 o’clock in the morning and he needed help. I was there to help him off the floor made sure he was in bed made sure he had something to eat and made sure he was secured in his home. Bruce put a lot of trust in me and that tells a lot about our friendship he was a good person and honest person a person that never bit his tongue about how he felt about people or his surroundings. When I got the call about his death, I had just got out of the hospital, but I made it there. A part of me left. I was so hurt and lost,,loss of words cause being used to a person calling you on a daily basis and now not anymore, WOW,,,we miss him ..One of the good things of knowing him I got a chance to meet his daughter and I pray that this friendship lasts forever. Rest on My Brother rest in peace.
