David M. Roxbury

David M. Roxbury, 64, of St Petersburg, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2024.  
He was born on November 17, 1959,  raised in New York and later moved to Florida with his wife, Laura.
He is survived by his wife, Laura; Mother, Lorraine;  Brother, Jim (Joan); and several other family members.
He was predeceased by his Father, Kenneth and his Brother, Michael. In New York, Dave was involved in high school sports, served as a volunteer firefighter, enjoyed anything to do with cars, boats, planes, and spending time with family and friends.  He was an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic in corporate aviation. After aviation, he applied his talents working in the marine industry.  In Florida, he successfully established his own mobile based business, On The Rox Marine Inc, repairing and servicing various types of boats.  He was passionate about working on projects both inside & outside of the home including handling upgrades and taking care of the lawn / landscaping.


He loved animals especially dogs. Dave and Laura adopted Stripe, a greyhound from a rescue organization who was gentle and loved by all. Dave had an extra special connection with him.  


He had a positive influence on many lives and would always lend a helping hand when needed.  He is deeply missed by many.A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday 3/1/2024 at St Raphael Catholic Church, 1376 Snell Isle Blvd NE,  St Petersburg, FL. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to Empath Suncoast Hospice:  https://suncoasthospicefoundation.org/donations2/  or another charity of your choice.

  3. Laura – this is Anita’s cousin in PA. She has been keeping us informed as things occurred and our hearts break for you and how wildly fast this has all happened. We had been praying for Dave and for your continued strength and we are still holding you up in prayer now from afar. My very deepest sympathies to you.
