Daniel Van Hoven

Our hearts are heavy with grief, but also rejoicing that Daniel Van Hoven is with his Savior.  He went to be with Jesus early Saturday morning, December 3, 2022.  He left this world suddenly and very unexpected. Even though our hearts ache we are thankful for each day the Lord had given us with him.

Please keep our family in your prayers. Dan was an amazing father, husband, and “DANPA”. He loved his bride, Francine Van Hoven and he adored his children David (Melissa) and Tami, as well as his grandchildren, Noah and Taya. He is also survived by his mother, June Van Hoven and his brother, Tom Van Hoven.

If there was a tool, he had it. If it was broken, he could fix it.  He loved his church family at Suncoast Cathedral. He enjoyed worship every Sunday and singing in the choir. Dan maintained a great love for his hometown and the many family and friends who were in Michigan. We are so thankful for the legacy he leaves, for the many life lessons he taught his children, and for his faith in Jesus Christ. We will be having a celebration of life at 11am on Saturday December 17, 2022 at Suncoast Cathedral 2300 62nd Ave North St. Petersburg Florida.

He loved his family and most importantly he loved the Lord. He will be missed. But now he is with Jesus and what a blessing that is. Because we all will see him again.
