Cora DeOreo gained her angle wings on 12/31/2022 after 81 years of a beautiful life.  Cora was born in Spartenburg South Carolina in 1941.  She was raised by her mother Katherine Taylor and her grandparents John and Lila Vehorn.  Cora graduated from Landrum High School in 1959.  Cora married James Michael DeOreo in 1966 and is survived by her two sons Chris and Craig DeOreo.  Cora loved to spend time with friends and family, she was quite the amazing cook, and loved going to church.

  1. I never got a chance to meet Ms. Cora but she seemed like a lovely person and did an outstanding job raising her sons. My condolences go out to her family friends and all of her loved ones.

  3. This beautiful woman loved me from the moment I met her! Her pure heart was like no other and she’s going to be truly missed. My thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.

  5. Dearest Craig and Chris,
    Glen and I first met your Mother and Dad when she was expecting Chris at the Raleigh Square Townhomes In Roswell, Georgia. It was best friends at first meeting.
    IWe have been best buddies up until her last days in hospice. We talked several times a week – never short conversations.
    I miss her! I miss her very much! She was an exceptional Christian women who lived her belief. She is now in Heaven with your Dad, Jim. “I Can Only Imagine” the glory she is experiencing now. She is happy! We had a special friendship and love for them.
