Betty Ruth Stahlmann

Largo, FL. – Betty Ruth Stahlmann, age 88, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 28, 2022. Betty was born in 1933 and grew up in Hasbrouck Heights NJ. She was a graduate of Hasbrouck Heights High School and enjoyed a variety of sports including; cheerleading, basketball, and swimming. She later married and moved to Ringwood NJ to raise her family and managed a travel agency. She loved cruising and explored many countries during her lifetime. Betty always lived life to the fullest. She thrived on spending time with her family, traveling and enjoyed social gatherings with her many life-long friends. She later owned and ran a gift shop in Point Pleasant Beach and eventually moved to Florida where she worked as a Cruise Specialist and then retired. Betty is survived by her daughters Kathleen Walker, Kandy Stahlmann (Lisa) and her grandson, Steven Frazee (Robert). She will be missed by all that knew her. Betty’s ashes will be scattered during a private ceremony at sea on April 15th. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

  1. i’m so sorry about aunt betty. i new she had this dreadful disease. i wish i could have seen her more when i was still living in nj. my friend and i used to go to point pleasant alot, but didnt know she had a gift shop. i remember your mom was always laughing and in good spirits. always busy. when i did call her she remembered me about 2 years ago. time flies. i will pray for you family.
