October 15, 1947 – August 26, 2021
My dad was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of LeRoy H. “Hickory” Fifield Sr. and June Fifield. He was preceded in death by both his parents, a sister, Laureen Fifield and a son, Jeffrey L. Fifield.
He is survived by his daughter Traci Kapteina and her husband David of Gulfport, Florida, a son, Brandon Culbreth and his wife Sara of Jacksonville, Florida, his sisters Linda McGowan and Lana Bednarowicz, both of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Bev and her husband Keith Rowland of North Carolina, and his aunt, Cheryl Engle of Aledo, Illinois. My dad was also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
My dad was an ordained minister, loved nature, especially fishing, and had a great love for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace dad….until we meet again.
