He was born on January 24, 1952, to John Wayne Childers and Mary Wright Childers, who preceded him in death. He was also predeceased by his adoptive parents, Garnette and C.A Frederick Ebisch, Jr., and siblings Bob Childers, Jim Childers, Judy Ballman, Johnny Childers, Tom Jasinski, and Bill Paschask.
Terry is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Charlotte; his six children: Tina, Angela (Allan Toledo), Michael (Amy Selph), Tera (Grant Trzeciak), Terry Jr., and Sonya; and was a stepdad to many. Terry attended Lawton High School in Oklahoma and Gulf High School in Florida, where he played and excelled in football. He later embarked on a successful career as an entrepreneur in the HVAC industry, building a reputation for his expertise, honesty, and loyalty. Known for his tireless work ethic, Terry was deeply committed to his customers—often getting up in the middle of the night to fix an A/C unit, no matter the time. He leaves behind not only a legacy of hard work and dedication but also the respect of his employees, James Markle, Jay Jones, and Jeremy H.
Outside of work, Terry had a passion for football. He loved watching games and cheering for his favorite teams—the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Dallas Cowboys. A devoted Bucs fan, he rooted for them whether they were winning or losing—Go Bucs! Though he gave up drinking years ago, Terry still enjoyed the simple pleasures in life: Bud Light, pizza, ice cream, and egg foo young from Zom Hee.
Terry Ebisch will be remembered for his incredible work ethic, kind heart, unwavering determination, strength, loyalty, and his love of life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
