Stephen A. Moeller, 66, of Clearwater, previously of Wisconsin, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. He died at home of a heart attack in his recliner watching game shows, which is just the way he wanted to go.
Stephen was born on April 25, 1959 to the late Jim and Joyce (Whiston) Moeller in Columbus, Ohio where his father was stationed in the Air Force.
He married Renee (Drews) on May 4, 1991 and they were happily married for 34 years. He worked for Charter Steel of Saukville, Wisconsin for 27 years until his retirement.
Stephen enjoyed camping, bowling, and cruising on the lake in his pontoon and speed boat. He also enjoyed watching football. He was a big Green Bay Packer fan. He enjoyed living his best life in retirement, he enjoyed being poolside or beachside with his dog Maxine, his wife Renee and his family and friends that would come to visit.
Stephen is survived by his wife Renee and his three children; Becky (Derek) Grapentine of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, Jesse (Jennifer) Moeller of New Haven, Indiana, and Amber (Jesse) Huck of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He also has three grandchildren, Kayleigh Moeller, Kayden Moeller and Hazel Huck. He is also survived by his sister Bev (Neil) Suemnicht of Plymouth, Wisconsin, mother – in- law, Betty Drews, his brother- in – law Mark Drews (Diane) of Brookfield, Wisconsin and his nieces and nephews, extended family, and many friends and neighbors. He is preceded in death by is parents Jim and Joyce Moeller and father in law Dennis Drews.
He will be cremated and his ashes will be spread in the ocean in the Spring. There will be no formal services per Stephens wishes.
