Melvin Vance Bingman passed away October 8th 2024 in Largo, Florida, with his wife of 50 years, Marbeth Bingman (nee Wooton) by his side. Besides Marbeth, he is survived by his children: Michael (Deborah) Bingman, Douglas (LaDonna) Bingman, Earl (Tricia) Bingman, Sally Smith, Debbie (Louis) Farriols, Walter (Martin Strmiska) Fiedler, Carol Jenezon, Jennifer (Bob) Beadling, Kim Marauszwski, 25 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Born on July 4th, 1934, he proudly served in the US Airforce and was a pioneer in telephone communications, installing the earliest electronic switching system in the United States in the Chicagoland area. He worked 30 years for Western Electric, retiring in 1982, to open a printing business retiring again in 1999.
He was a faithful member of the New Hope Church of Christ in Largo, Florida and predeceased by his parents Earl and Christine (Evans) Bingman, brother Glenn Bingman and sister Lorraine Wells, one son in law, Will Marauszwski, and a great grandson Rocco Farriols.
He was interred October 30th, 2025, at Baypines VA Cemetery, Baypines Florida, with full military honors.

It was a pleasure to know him when they lived in Park Forest IL and went to church with me there. Wish they would have stayed in IL but I’m glad they had a good life in FL
