Marianne F. Hackett

 Marianne F. Hackett (Fager) passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 61 in St. Petersburg, Florida, surrounded by family and friends.  She was born on June 12, 1962, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Marianne was a dedicated wife and mother who had a career in catering and as a cook. She was known for her hard work and sense of humor, always putting her family first. Marianne’s generosity extended beyond her lifetime as she donated her eyes to the Lions Club.

In her free time, Marianne enjoyed playing games, solving puzzles, playing bingo, and attending family events. She was a family-oriented person who cherished spending time with her loved ones.

Marianne is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Hackett; daughter, Cheyenne Hackett; son, Chad Fager; brother, Tom Fager; sister-in-law, Alicia Fager; sister, Annette McCreary; 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hubert Fager; mother, Sylvia Boyle Fager; sister, Nancy Fager Denton; and brothers, Timmy, Kenny and Jerry Fager.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Fort Desoto Park, Pavilion #9, on Saturday, February 24th, 2024.

Marianne will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Cremation services are entrusted to Abbey Affordable Cremation & Funeral Services in Largo, Florida.
