Elsie Polito (1926-2025)
Elsie Polito, age 98, passed away peacefully in her home on the west coast of Florida on February 24, 2025.
She was born in Syracuse, NY in 1926 as the oldest daughter of William and Mary Bada. She worked as a bookkeeper and co-owner of Family Food Market for many years. She and her beloved husband John were ballroom dancing enthusiasts. They also enjoyed traveling the country.
Elsie was preceded in death by husband John Polito and sister Josephine Archer, and is survived by sister Edith Kane, son Ron (Marcy) Polito, grandson Ryan Polito, niece Kathy Austin, and nephew Tom (Karen) Kane.

No services are planned at this time. A small family service will be held in Syracuse sometime in early May.
