Cynthia Kay Davis

Davis, Cynthia Kay 76, of Largo died October 13, 2024, and was surrounded by her family until the end. Cindy was born in Akron, OH to Albert Kepler and Pearl Workman (Haynes). She was later adopted by William Haynes, Pearl’s second husband, after Al’s passing. Cindy grew up in Cuyahoga Falls, OH and later attended Kent State University where she met her husband, Peter Davis. They were married in 1968 and had two wonderful sons Geoff and Josh. After many adventures traveling the country together, Cindy and Pete moved to Florida in 1977 and called it their home ever since. Cindy was a dedicated mother and took pride and joy raising Geoff and Josh. She cherished the memories and time spent with them growing up playing sports and traveling together as a family. She was a proud grandmother to her grandchildren Ryder and Brady and cherished every opportunity to see them smile. She was also fiercely loyal and dedicated many years of her life caring for Pete who was stricken with Multiple Sclerosis in 1992. She was a selfless soul that always put her family first, above all else, and will be missed by so many. Cindy is survived by sons, Geoff and Josh, cherished grandsons, Brady and Ryder, sister Pamela Truesdale and many other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Davis, her parents, William and Pearl Haynes and sister, Julie Haynes.
