We are honored to celebrate the life of Carol Ann Byrd (78) of Largo, Fl, who transitioned to eternal peace in her home on July 8th, 2025. She was born and raised in New Hampshire, but made Florida her home 41 years ago. She enjoyed the serenity of beaches, good music, and the love of her family. As Nana, she was known for her infectious laugh, great sense of humor, unwavering kindness and love for everything animal print and elephants. With a spirit of resilience, she overcame countless challenges, exemplifying strength and courage. As a loving mom and exceptional grandmother, Carol’s legacy will continue to uplift and inspire. Her love, wisdom, and generosity will forever be cherished by all who were blessed to know her. She entrusted her life to God, embracing the promise of eternal life. Carol’s radiant spirit will live on through her daughter Tina Tobey, son Joey Fernald, grandchildren Ryan Tobey, Matthew Stockford, Ashley Rodriguez, Brittany Tobey, and eight great-grandchildren. Last but certainly not least her best friend Barbara Fairfield who encouraged her to see the positive side of life every day.

Love you and miss you Nana until we see each other again you was the coolest Nana ever❤️
Ooh. This is so perfect. I love you guys. I’m sure she’s someplace amazing like her colorful fun , bold personality like god made her to uplift people like me. She was so accepting of me when I was a kid and my mother wasn’t available. It really did lift me up during that time. I’ll always have such awesome memories. I can’t believe she’s gone so fast.
Always in my heart,
Greer
My deepest sympathy to the family of Carol Ann Byrd. I am blessed that I had the opportunity to meet her. She is now at peace in the arms of God and am praying that her loved ones find comfort and peace in that as well. God be with you all.
