St. Petersburg – Michael Lee Fox, 75, passed away on February 14, 2026.
Michael grew up and spent most of his life in Newport News, Virginia, where he graduated from Ferguson High School. He was a star baseball player and a member of the school choir. After high school, Michael proudly served four years in the United States Marine Corps before returning to Newport News.
He worked at the Newport News Shipyard and the Naval Weapons Station. Michael had a lifelong love of sports, especially football, baseball, and golf. He was a devoted Washington Redskins fan.
He was preceded in death by his wife Karen Sue Fox, parents, Robert “Bobby” Lee Fox Jr. and Betty Love Fox; his brothers, Donald Wayne Fox and Daniel Ray Fox; his uncle, Kenneth “Kinky” Wayne Fox; and his cousin, James “Jimbo” Robert Fox.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Natalee Campagnola; stepdaughter, Becky Collins (James); stepson, Timmy Adams; and his grandsons, Jacob Campagnola, Joseph Campagnola, and Jesse Brown, along with many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Michael will be cremated and laid to rest alongside the love of his life, Karen.
His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved and knew him.
