Nancy Ann (Findlay) Gower

Nancy Ann (Findlay) Gower, age 84, passed away peacefully on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2026, surrounded by loved ones in her home.

Born on December 8, 1941, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Nancy lived a life full of joy, love, and connection. She was a vibrant soul who loved to dance, host a good party, and laugh often. Wherever Nancy went, she made friends easily—and people didn’t just like her, they instantly loved her.

After retiring, Nancy embraced a new chapter of life by moving to Dunedin, Florida, where she enjoyed the warm atmosphere and the many friendships she formed. She was soon joined by her daughters, Mindy and Suzanne, and together they made the most of coastal living, family time, and everyday joys. In later years, her grandchildren, Elaina and Max, also moved closer to be near her.

Nancy was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, and a true matriarch to her family. She took immense pride in her loved ones and was a steady source of strength, encouragement, laughter, and unconditional love.

Nancy is survived by her loving children, Suzanne Falls; Brent (Sana) Golemgeske, Mindy (Johnathan) Adkins; her grandchildren, Elaina Golemgeske; Maxwell (Olivia Stokely) Golemgeske; Jacob Adkins and Caroline Adkins; her great-grandchild, Kai Golemgeske-Xiao; her siblings, Russell (Pamela) Findlay and Sally (Rodney) Lungwitz; her nephews, James Findlay; Wesley (Erin) Lungwitz; and many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.

Nancy was widowed by her former husband, Wayne Gower, and was preceded in death by her parents, Myrt and Jim Findlay; her brother, John Findlay; and her niece, Erin Jo Findlay.

Her legacy lives on in the many lives she helped raise, the laughter she shared, and the love she gave so freely.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that loved ones honor Nancy by dancing, laughing, sharing stories, soaking up the sunshine, and showing love to those they hold dear, just as she always did.
