Wiley Wilson Phillips Jr., age 71, passed away peacefully at home.
Born in Fort Benning, Georgia, Wiley lived a life rooted in family, resilience, and a steady presence. He was known for his quiet strength, his loyalty to those he loved, and the way he showed care through actions more than words. Those closest to him knew him as thoughtful, rooted in faith, and deeply connected to his family.
Wiley was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley Wilson Phillips Sr. and Anna Ruth Phillips, sisters Eadie Stewart and Glenna Simmons and by his brothers Kenneth and Richard. He is survived by his brother Leland Phillips and his sister Diana Thomaston.
He is survived by his son, Bryan Phillips, and by his beloved grandchildren, Kameron, Elijah, and Ezra, who were a source of pride and joy in his life. Wiley is also survived by his girlfriend, Hillary, who shared companionship with him in his later years.
Wiley will be remembered for his calm nature, his enduring love for his family, and the lasting impression he left on those who knew him. His memory will live on through the people he loved and the lives he touched.
