Carol Ann Pughe Fariel

Carol Ann Pughe Fariel, age 82 of Largo, Florida

On November 11^th 2025, Carol passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her husband Don, who she married in 1973.

Carol was born in December 1942 in Utica NY and graduated from Oriskany NY high school in 1960.  She was employed in the automobile business for over 30 years as an Office Manager/ Controller, retiring in 2007.  

She leaves her husband Don of 52 years, her beloved daughter Kimberly Orcutt of Herkimer, NY.  Three stepdaughters – Susan Fariel of San Jose, CA, Kristin Fariel of Lowville, NY, and  Shannon Fariel-Mureithi of Newport News, VA.   Five beloved grandchildren, Cassandra Cristman and her husband Justin,  Benjamin Orcutt and Finance Scott Taylor, Nathan Lamb, Chase and Reese Mureithi.  and two beloved great grandchildren Grant and Leanne Cristman.  As well as many other beloved relatives.

Carol was pre-deceased by her parents John and Marion Pughe of Deansboro, NY and her brother John (Jack) Pughe Jr, of Waterville, NY.

Carol will be remembered by her many friends in Glenwood Estates, Largo Fl, Herkimer NY, and her St. Lawrence River campground buddies.

Carol was a kind, gentle, generous and loving person who will be missed by all.

A memorial will be held in the near future at Glenwood Estate.
