Edward A. Seamands, 71, of Clearwater, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.  

Edward, called Teddy by friends and family, grew up around the world. 

After high school graduation, Teddy joined the Army where he proudly served around the United States and overseas.  He was in the Quartermaster Corps. While in uniform, he earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. After his military career, he lived in Mississippi and then retired in Florida. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles W. and Dorraine Seamands. He is survived by his daughter Bridgette Seamands Bentley (Clinton) of Saucier, Mississippi; two siblings Charlene Seamands of Norman, Oklahoma and Michael Seamands of Tyler Texas; and one grandchild Alexzander Bentley. 

Teddy, was a friend to everyone he met and will be missed by many.  A private funeral will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VA Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL.
