Harold W. Teague

Harold W Teague, 83, passed away November 5th, 2021 in St. Petersburg, Fla. Born on April 18, 1938 in Monette, Arkansas to Talmage Allen Teague and Kittie Claire Teague. He was the 7th child of 13. Harold migrated to Ohio from Arkansas, following his brothers and sisters north. While in Ohio he met and married Patricia E Reuter, with whom he had three children, Richard (“Rick”) W Teague, Elaine M Teague and Beth A Teague Lowe. Harold was a tireless fighter for worker’s rights during his tenure with AFSCME. He became a resident of Florida when he retired from AFSCME in 1993. He loved to travel, play tennis and host family and friends when he lived in Treasure Island and Gulfport. He also enjoyed hanging out with his grandkids. Harold was preceded in death by both his parents, his brothers Walter Teague, Jonas Teague, Henry Teague and Sonny Teague, his sister Mary Coker and his son Rick Teague. He is survived by his sisters Jean Berry, Liz Isaac, Betty Hipolite, Lelia Love and his brothers James Teague, Robert Teague and Lanny Teague. He is also survived by both of his daughters Elaine and Beth and 8 grandchildren Bonnie Teague, Kristin Teague, Richard (“Ricky”)Teague II, Miranda Piccione(Luke Schmidt) Meganne Thaxton (Elliott Thaxton), Kaleigh Lowe, Matthew Lowe, and Hannah Lowe. He also has 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date when friends and family can gather.
