Devore, Sharon Kay, 71, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, October 14, 2021.
Sharon was born in Charleston, West Virginia on October 3, 1950. Her family moved to Florida in 1964, and she graduated from Largo High School in 1969. Sharon worked various jobs throughout her life, as a cashier, receptionist, truck driver, and taxi cab driver. Sharon loved her grandchildren and enjoyed playing bingo.
Sharon is survived by her children, Stephanie DelAngel, Sarah Sinclair (Don), John Devore, and Elizabeth Devore; grandchildren, Demi Strawbridge, Jacob Strawbridge, and Christian Sinclair; great-granddaughter, Delilah Burgan; her siblings, Billy Green (Edith), Randy Whitten, Julie Saunders, Tim Whitten (Vickie), and Helen Pullen (Bill); brother-in-law, Dr. John DeVore; nieces and nephews, Bucky Aona (Ty), Cris Lehano (Pili), Deanna Straub (Eric), Angel Parker (Jim), Katie Hughes, Jodi Miller (Chad), and Megan Pullen; as well as many great- nieces and nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Devore; grandson, Tyler Sinclair; parents, Charles Whitten and Catherine Green; sisters Mary Tarmina and Debbie Aona; nieces and nephews, Fred McIntosh, Donna Trudeau, and Davey Whitten; and great- nieces and nephews, Sean Christopher Leer and Avery Miller.
A memorial service will be held at a later date when family can gather.
