Lieutenant Colonel Jeff Edward Holmes Sr, A retired Veteran of the United States Army Born February 15, 1955 passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 28, 2020. He is the son of John Edward Holmes Jr. (preceded in death) and Blanche Holmes Lucey. He is survived by wife Christie Holmes, children Jeff Holmes Jr. (Rachel) Thomas Holmes (Ashlee)Eric Holmes Megan Holmes and Sarah Holmes (preceded in death by sons Lucas Queen Brian Holmes and Sean Holmes.) Mr. Holmes leaves behind two sisters Joyce Adams (David )Janet Coats (Willie) and brother Roy Holmes he also leaves behind eight grand children Kaitlyn Holmes ,Josh Holmes ,Brook Holmes ,Kena Holmes, Addilyn Holmes ,Zach Holmes ,Victoria Holmes and Christina Holmes as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Holmes will be laid to rest at Florida national cemetery
